Meet the Paltiel's
Rabbi Levi Paltiel, who grew up right next door in Port Washington, brings a wealth of experience to the Manhasset community. After studying in Chicago, Maryland, and Australia, he has returned to his roots to lead this initiative. Rabbi Levi's rabbinical work has taken him to all four corners of the globe, including Brisbane, Australia; Budapest, Hungary; and Athens, Greece, where he has dedicated himself to bringing Judaism to diverse communities. After receiving his Rabbinical certification in 2022, he continued to advance towards higher Rabbinical education. With his vast and deep understanding of Halachah and Kabbalistic philosophy, Rabbi Paltiel is here to share his warmth and knowledge with the Manhasset Community.
Shani Paltiel grew up immersed in the spirit of Jewish outreach, helping run her family’s Chabad center in Oak Park, MI. Her warmth, openness, and love for Jewish tradition shine through in everything she does. An accomplished Torah scholar and passionate teacher, Shani has a unique gift for making everyone feel at home, no matter their background or level of observance. Her approachable nature, coupled with her deep knowledge of Jewish teachings, makes her someone people naturally gravitate toward - whether for learning, support, or simply a heartfelt conversation. Shani brings her warmth and expertise to Manhasset, where she looks cultivates meaningful connections with every member of the community.
Together, this dynamic couple serves the community, building a space where everyone can connect, learn, and grow. Like every Chabad around the world, the Manhasset center offers up Chabad’s signature style Judaism, offering time honored Jewish tradition in an atmosphere which is completely judgement free and filled with joy. These ingredients are what has made Chabad the fastest growing movement in Judaism, touching the lives of well over 30% of American Jews.

Our Services
At Chabad of Manhasset, we offer a variety of services designed to meet the diverse needs of our community. Our educational programs provide opportunities for all ages to engage with Jewish learning, from stimulating Torah classes to dynamic youth education aimed at inspiring the next generation.
